Where you ask

Only to you

  • Changes waiting for approval

  • Drafts you post yourself

Never

  • Your tools' results in a shared channel

FAQ

Before you add it.

Is there a ChatGPT-style assistant in Slack hosted in the EU?

Chat with Work answers in Slack DMs, mentions, and /cww, in Microsoft Teams chats and mentions, in Discord with /ask, and in Campfire with !cww. It's each person's own assistant, with their own integrations, on our servers in Germany with every model in the EU.

Can my teammates see what my tools returned?

No. Only the answer's text leaves Chat with Work. Where others read along and the answer used your own tools, it waits as a draft only you see, and you post it.

How does it know it's me?

You link your account once by signing in with Slack, Microsoft, or Discord as that account, never by email. In Campfire, through your Basecamp connection.

Everything else it does

Everywhere else you work.

  • Chats across your tools Ask every tool you connect in one question, approve each change, and share chats with your team in projects.
  • Bots They start on a time or an event and do the chores that repeat, asking first unless you let them run.
  • Chat with Work Desktop On Mac, Windows, and Linux: lend folders, change files, run commands in a sandbox (Windows 11 24H2 and later), scan paper, and use your browser.
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs Ask beside the document with what you selected, and apply each edit yourself.
  • iPhone and Android Your chats and bots in your pocket: ask, follow your bots, and approve what waits for you.
  • Documents, spreadsheets, and decks It runs code in a sandbox to calculate and to build Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files on your templates.
  • Self-hosting Chat with Work on your own servers, with the models you choose, local ones included.

Ask in the channel you're already in.

An owner or admin adds the app for the organization; then each person links their own account once.
